When coating is not uniform, varying readings are obtained. How many readings are to be taken and how to interpret them?
Answer is Statistics. In model M2s, ‘s’ stands for statistics. Number of Readings, Average, Std. Deviation, Max. and Min. are updated with every reading and displayed simultaneously.
Being linked to average value, Zero Setting and Calibration are near perfect.

Interchangeable probe sleeve tip(A) having 3 points for flat & spherical surface.
Interchangeable probe sleeve tip(B) having V block for cylindrical surfaces.
Auto Off : If instrument remains unused for 50 seconds, it gets switched off automatically. When switched on again, the last reading along with statistics is retrieved and the old job can be continued further. Job is discarded only when instrument is switched off manually.
Last calibration retained and Auto-retrieved.
Manipulation of readings not possible.
Models M have Hard-Chrome Plated Probe tips and Models C have Probe tips of Wear Resistant Material.
Spring loaded probe sleeve with tip ensures probe is held perpendicular.
A beep sound is heard when reading is obtained.
